Project No. 3

DUE 2/12/13

For this project we had to create an internal composition and an external composition. An internal composition consists of you putting together images and then putting guide lines in after. You are building your image your own way. An external composition is when before creating your picture you have guide lines put in and your composition must follow those vertical and horizontal lines.

INTERNAL COMPOSITION

For this composition I put together 3 different photos. The first was the buildings and alley. This photo was taken in Rhode Island. The next photo I incorporated was the floor between the two walls. That photo was taken on the board walk in LBI. The last photo I included was a graffiti wall at the end of the alley. That photo was taken in NJ.

EXTERNAL COMPOSITION

For this composition I put together four different photographs. The water consists of two different ones, an ocean and a lake filed with leaves. I tried to blend the two together to make it seem as though it is one body of water. The sand is another photograph taken at a beach in the Dominican Republic. The leaves are all from the same photograph. I added the shadow on the sand to make the leaves seem more part of the picture and not just added for the sake of adding.
